Set in Victorian-era England, the movie centers around Basil, a mystery-solving rodent. He investigates the kidnapping of a toymaker that could lead him to a crime against the country’s royalty itself.

The 26th animated feature film in the Disney classics line, The Great Mouse Detective was a success in theaters, making over $38 million upon release.
