In the film, the titular duck is transported from his world of anthropomorphic ducks to 1980s Cleveland of the human world. There, he encounters a young woman singer named Beverly and a scientist named Phil. But, they must also cope with a person who is possessed by an evil force from another dimension.

The film was a flop at the box office, barely breaking even and receiving numerous negative reviews from critics.
