Two superheroes enjoying some friendly competition must team up to defeat a threat to the world in an episode that aired on this day in television history.

In the episode, Superman and The Flash are competing in a race around the world for a good cause, when they find that unusual weather is sweeping the globe. Putting aside their competition, they team-up to battle the man behind the threat, the sinister Weather Wizard.

This is the first appearance of The Flash in the DC Animated Universe. Here is voiced by Charlie Schlatter, but would be voiced by Michael Rosenbaum in the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited animated series in the same continuity.
