“Crusaders of the Lost Mark” is the 18th episode of the 5th season of the animated series, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Written by Amy Keating Rogers and directed by Denny Lu, it first aired on October 10th, 2015 on the Discovery Family network.

In the episode, it’s election time at the Schoolhouse as the seemingly-stuck-up Diamond Tiara faces off against the popular Pipsqueak. When Tiara only manages to get one vote, the Cutie Mark Crusaders discover there’s more to their long-time adversary than they ever know… and could finally find their place in life in the process.

The episode features several musical numbers, including the first full number featuring Diamond Tiara (sung by Chantal Strand). Those songs were composed by Daniel Ingram, along with Caleb Chan and Trevor Hoffman, with lyrics by Ingram and Rogers.

It also marks the culmination of a running plotline of the series: the quest for Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo to get their “cutie marks.”
