Developed by Factor 5 and published by LucasArts, Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike was released exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube on October 15th, 2003.

Like the first two installments in the series, the game is set during the timeline of the original trilogy of Star Wars feature films. These include recreations of film moments as well as original missions. Aside from the in-atmosphere and in-space flight missions of the first two games, Rebel Strike introduces third-person on-foot missions as well. Aside from that single-player campaign, there is a multiplayer co-op and versus mode as well.

The game, to date, is the last in the Rogue Squadron series.
