This Day in Television History – October 17th, 1998 – The New Batman Adventures’ “Girls’ Nite Out” Airs

Batgirl and Supergirl team up to battle villains who have teamed up themselves in an episode that aired on this day in television history.

“Girl’s Night Out” is the 21st episode of The New Batman Adventures. Written by Hilary J. Bader and directed by Curt Geda, it first aired on October 17th, 1998.

In the episode, the electrically-powered LiveWire is a free woman again, and this time teams up with the infamous duo of Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. Now, together with the help of Supergirl, Batgirl tries to stop this new terrible trio.

The episode combines characters from the Superman animated series with the Batman series.
