“Who Gets to Keep Toegpi?” is the 48th episode of the Pokemon anime to air in the United States, being first broadcast of March 27th, 1999 in the US, following its 1998 Japanese airing.

In the episode, a Pokemon egg that Ash Ketchum discovered hatches into a new Pokemon that both he and his friends want. To decide who gets to keep Togepi, they decide to have a tournament!
