This Day in Television History – May 6th, 2005 – Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends’ “Mac Daddy” Airs

A “new” imaginary friend gets between Mac and Bloo in an episode that aired on this day in television history.

“Mac Daddy” is the 7th episode of the 2nd season of Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. Written by Lauren Faust, it first aired on Cartoon Network on May 6th, 2005.

In the episode, it seems that Mac has created a new imaginary friend named Cheese. Cheese is…very unique and annoys both Mac and his original friend Bloo. And, now Bloo wants to get rid of him by any means necessary!

Cheese, voiced by Candi Milo, would become a popular recurring character in the series.
